A Fast Radio Burst with measured Faraday Rotation

Abstract

A Fast Radio Burst detected using the Green Bank Telescope at 800 MHz shows substantial linear polarization and faraday rotation. Scintillation and scattering are also detected. The high rotation measure detected exceeds that expected for this line of site through the Milky Way, indicating substantial magnetization local to the source.
