Physics Literacy: Enhancing Accessibility through an Introductory Online Physics Course – Ongoing Assessment of Successes and Challenges

Abstract
This presentation focuses on the ongoing evidence-based assessments and engagement activities within an asynchronous, introductory algebra-based physics course that includes a lab component. The presentation will share evidence-based formative assessments and engagement strategies that have proven successful, as well as the challenges encountered in the course. In-person instructors can also utilize these evidence-based instructional tools in their classes.
