Development of CubeSat Program at Nassau Community College

A CubeSat is a small spacecraft that typically measures 4 inches on each side and houses a series of self-power detectors aimed at acquiring information during space travel. Currently CubeSat are being used as educational tools in universities to foster the next generation of space professionals. In this talk, I will show the coordinated efforts Nassau Community College’s Engineering Science students as they venture into building and testing our first CubeSat.
