Investigation of the Energy-Momentum Tensor Within the Classical Model of an Electron
ORAL
Abstract
A theoretical study of the energy-momentum tensor (EMT) of the electron is being conducted. We use the exactly soluble classical model proposed by Iwo Bialynicki-Birula. The goal of the study is to investigate the EMT properties at long distances. We hope to confirm results from calculations in quantum electrodynamics (QED) because the long-distance properties are expected to be model-independent. These results will advance the understanding of the internal structure and energy distribution of charged particles.
