Microcontrollers as Instruments in the Lab

This semester I was awarded a BSU ATP Grant for a research project. I chose to use this grant to purchase a Cypress PSoC 5LP CY8CKIT, which is an all-in-one programmable system with an on-board microcontroller. It uses analog and digital circuits that can be configured by the user in any number of ways. For example; as a PID controller, for monitoring temperature, and even an LED Projector. Over the course of the semester I have been learning how to create programs for this device so that it can be used for different purposes that will be valuable in labs.
