Dwarf Galaxies and the Smallest Supermassive Black Holes
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
In this presentation, I will discuss how observations of nearby dwarf galaxies are being used to discover the smallest supermassive black holes known. Work in this area is not only important for a holistic understanding of dwarf galaxy evolution, but may also tell us how the first "seeds" of supermassive black holes formed in the early Universe.
