The Role of Morphology in the Optical Response of a Nanocrystalline Organic Donor-pi-Acceptor System
POSTER
Abstract
The viability of small, donor-pi-acceptor (D-A) molecules for optical and non-linear optical studies is known. The effect of morphology on the solid-state optical response of a nanoscale organic D-A crystal will be investigated. Comparison of nanocrystals made under several conditions will be made, as wells with the liquid phase molecule and the bulk crystal.
