Teaching Beginning Climate Science

ORAL

Abstract

Specific information will be provided that shows that climate change is already happening and that it is largely due to the burning of fossil fuels, destruction of forests and poor farming and forestry practices in general. Evidence backed alternate points of view will be welcomed. Participants will then play with several hands-on activities that can be used with students to demonstrate energy flows and their consequences.
