How fast can we walk?

POSTER

Abstract

We have made a model to find out how fast a person can walk, and figure out the maximum walking speed. Several recordings of walking people of various masses and heights were analyzed using LoggerPro. A force platforme was used to figure out the normal and horizontal forces applied to the floor as walking.
