Careers Inclusion in Undergraduate Courses

Abstract

The need for physics teachers stronger than ever. This poster will discuss the implementation of providing students with the skills and resources needed to master the challenges of teaching and private sector. Specific examples and course material will be included, and the implications of department health will be discussed. Tools to improve on the skills and resources students need for a broad distribution of destinations and career pathways will be highlighted. How to build topics such as overcoming obstacles, skills assessment, mental health, teaching as a profession, networking, and professional skills into existing courses will be discussed.
