A Skateboarding Experiential Learning Activity for Introductory Physics

Instructors teaching introductory college physics courses are in a unique position to explain physics in skateboarding and associated potential risks. An instructor taking students to a skate park to measure the impact forces can enhance student understanding of physics in skateboarding, analytical thinking skills, and appreciation of physics in everyday life.
