Two-dimensional Yang-Mills on a single site lattice

In this work, we analyzed the chiral condensate in two dimensions for Yang-Mills theory coupled to adjoint fermions. We perform simulations on a single site lattice. Since the center symmetry is not broken, the theory is in the confined phase. Chiral symmetry is expected to be broken in the confined phase and we compute the value of the chiral condensate.
