Entanglement-enhanced BB-84 Scheme for Quantum Key Distribution

We develop a novel enhancement to the traditional BB-84 scheme for quantum key distribution using entanglement To improve the security of the scheme and its resilience to the photon number splitting attack. The potential benefits and shortcomings of this scheme are then compared to the popular decoy states solution to the photon number splitting attack.
