First Physics Results from CMS
COFFEE_KLATCH · Invited
Abstract
The CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) has collected and analyzed since spring 2010 at a center of mass energy of 7 TeV. In addition to measurements of well established standard model processes, first results of searches for new physics in this energy regime have been carried out. This talk will concentrate on these searches while also including projections of future results with larger datasets.
