Neutrino Oscillations with the Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment
COFFEE_KLATCH · Invited
Abstract
The last unknown neutrino mixing matrix element, $\theta_{13}$, holds the key to lepton based CP violation and to determining the ordering of the neutrino mass states. The Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment, which has just started to take data will have the best reach in $\theta_{13}$ sensitivity for the next decade. The experiment will be discussed, including current status and future prospects.
