Exclusive semileptonic B meson decays at Belle

I will report on the results from the Belle experiment on exclusive and inclusive $B$ meson semileptonic decays to charmed mesons as a probe of the CKM matrix element $|V_{cb}|$. The exclusive modes include $B \to D_s^{(*)(*)} \ell \nu$. The discrepancy between the inclusive and sum-of-exclusive branching fractions will be reviewed.
