Neutron Scattering Opportunities at Oak Ridge National Laboratory

COFFEE_KLATCH · Invited

Abstract

Oak Ridge National Laboratory is home of the world's most intense pulsed neutron source (SNS) and the highest flux research based reactor in the United States (HFIR). Together, these two facilities provide unique capabilities for researchers in a variety of fields, such as condensed matter physics, materials science, engineering, biology, and chemistry. In this talk, I will discuss the scientific and academic opportunities offered by SNS and HFIR, and present a few recent science cases.
