Recent Results from the ALICE Experiment

Abstract

The ALICE Experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) pursues a comprehensive program of measurements of high energy heavy ion collisions in order to extend our understanding of QCD and the novel properties of nuclear matter under extreme conditions. ALICE is the dedicated general purpose heavy ion experiment which measures the properties of $Pb+Pb$, $p+p$, and (new in 2013) $p+Pb$ collisions at LHC energies. We explore the broad range of recent ALICE physics results with selected theoretical comparisons.
