NASA's New Horizons Mission: To Pluto and Beyond

After a nine-year journey across the Solar System, NASA's New Horizons spacecraft encountered Pluto and its five moons on 14 July 2015. Through the eyes of New Horizons, Pluto was almost instantly transformed from a mere point of light to a vastly complex world with towering mountains, bright young plains, as well as unexpected and unrivaled beauty. I will review the New Horizons mission, results to date, as well as the search for and planned exploration of New Horizons' next target, Kuiper Belt Object 2014 MU$_{69}$ on 1 January 2019.
