Interstellar extinction in the direction of six open clusters

Multi-wavelength polarization measurements of six open clusters is presented. For select stars in each cluster, the wavelength dependence of polarization due to selective extinction is determined. Using the wavelength of maximum polarization, the ratio of total-to-selective extinction is determined and an average value for each cluster is reported.
