Designing a Bluetooth Communication Network for High-Altitude Balloons

Abstract
To comply with FAA regulations, High-Altitude Balloons sometimes need to be split into multiple payloads. When running an experiment that requires input from several different devices, this can become troublesome. To remedy this, we have developed a Bluetooth communication system on the Raspberry Pi platform to allow different payloads on the same flight to share their data with a master Raspberry Pi. Source code, parts list, and schematics will be presented as well as results from a test flight running an experiment across different payloads.
