Search for CPT and Lorentz Invariance Violation in the Muon g-2 Experiment.

ORAL

Abstract

Muon g-2 data can be used to search for a sidereal variation of the anomalous muon precession rate, which is one of the important potential signatures of CPT and Lorentz Invariance Violation in the muon sector. The talk will focus on the analysis framework that has been used to study sidereal variation of this precession in Muon g-2 preliminary Run 2 data. This will include a brief introduction to the signal blinding method, which will be used on entire Run 2/3 dataset.
