π0 mass analysis using sPHENIX data
POSTER
Abstract
The sPHENIX collaboration at RHIC studies particle collisions to probe the Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP) that emerges during heavy ion collisions. QGP, the primordial soup of the universe, is what everything was for a tiny fraction of a second after the Big Bang initiated. Colliding heavy ions at relativistic speeds allows nuclear physicists to recreate the environment and therefore the particles that happened at the birth of the universe as well as further understand the strong force.
