Neural Network Tagger Calibrations in the Search for Nonresonant Higgs Boson Pair Production in the Four b-Quark Decay Channel with Run-3 Data at the Compact Muon Solenoid Experiment

ORAL

Abstract

We will present our analysis of the search for boosted Higgs boson pair production in the four b-quark decay channel, focusing particularly on tagger applications in the analysis. We compare the performance of ParticleNet and Global ParticleTransformer (GloParT) and derive scale factors for both taggers. Our results show that GloParT achieves better performance in terms of area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve and signal efficiencies at given background efficiencies.
