The Effectiveness of Energy-Dependent Proton Irradiation in Thin-film YBCO Superconductors
ORAL
Abstract
Electron irradiation has been used as the principal method of studying the influence of non-magnetic defects on superconductive properties. We have irradiated YBCO-1237 with protons of different energies that show promising results in improving the connection between experimental data and extended Abrikosov-Gor'kov theory. The mechanism behind this improvement will be discussed.
