Non-Hermtian Edge-Skin modes in Spin Liquids
ORAL
Abstract
In this work, we analyze a non-Hermitian extension of the Kitaev honeycomb model. Non-Hermitian hopping terms are found to arise from on-site dissipations. We further studies the appearance of skin-effect and its dependence on boundaries conditions and bulk spatial symmetry. We find the skin effect exhibits quasi-long-range decay. The inclusion of on-site dissipation generalizes the model to conditions that resemble experimental settings and we will also discuss how to realize such phenomena in physical systems.
