Double Quantum AC Sensing using Diamond NV Centers

Abstract



Diamond NV centers are powerful tools for sensing magnetic fields. Utilizing the full spin 1 properties of the NV center, we performed AC magnetic field sensing in the double quantum state. After determining the appropriate phase control, we performed sophisticated pulse sequences such as XY8 and correlation spectroscopy to measure and track the coherence of an external AC magnetic field. This talk will describe the results of these measurements, and describe the technical challenges of performing the experiments.
