Interlayer Correlated Quantum Hall States in Bilayer WSe2
ORAL
Abstract
Recent advancements in the quality of transition metal dichalcogenide growth and contacts have enabled the measurement of the integer and fractional quantum Hall effects in monolayer WSe2 devices. In contrast to monolayer WSe2, the layer degree of freedom in bilayer WSe2 creates a richer space for quantum Hall ground states including those with interlayer correlations. We will show transport measurements of the quantum Hall effect realized in high mobility WSe2 bilayers and discuss the formation of quantum Hall states with interlayer correlation such as exciton condensates in the strong coupling limit.
