Investigation of magnetic spin texture dynamics using correlative photon statistics techniques at the European XFEL.
ORAL
Abstract
Enabled by the high data rate and coherent flux of modern X-ray Free Electron Laser facilities, dynamics of magnetic spin textures using correlative X-ray scattering techniques can span a larger range of reciprocal space than previously possible. In this talk, I will present on recent efforts to extract dynamics in the low scattering intensity regimes of spin textures in FeGd films at the European XFEL. By fitting the probability distribution of discrete photon arrival events, fluctuations are extracted on the microsecond timescale.
