Electronic structure, magnetism, and pairing tendencies in layered nickelates

ORAL

Abstract

The recent discovery of superconductivity in the bilayer nickelate La3Ni2O7 under pressure has launched a new platform to study high temperature superconductivity. In this talk, we will present dynamic cluster quantum Monte Carlo calculations of a two-orbital bilayer Hubbard model that give insight into the magnetic and superconducting pairing tendencies in this system.
