Eigenstate Thermalization Hypothesis: From Open to Isolated Quantum Systems

POSTER

Abstract

The Eigenstate Thermalization Hypothesis (ETH) has provided significant insights into the thermalization of closed quantum systems. We formulate an analog of ETH for open quantum systems governed by a Lindbladian operator and demonstrate its validity in several physical models. Our framework presents a unified view of ETH, allowing us to recover the known formulations of ETH in the Hamiltonian limit, both in the Hermitian and non-Hermitian versions.
