A simple quantum Markov chain Monte Carlo
ORAL
Abstract
I present a quantum Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithm to equilibrate, measure, and mix quantum thermal states on quantum computers. It applies delayed rejection sampling to a conditional positive operator-valued measure with non-symmetric transition probabilities by using finite-resolution spectral information extracted through Gaussian-filtered quantum phase estimation.
