CO2 Adsorption on Biochars

ORAL

Abstract

We will present our results of adsorption of Carbon Dioxide on Biochar based materials. Adsorption isotherms measurements performed at temperatures greater than room temperature will be presented. Isosteric heats of adsorption values extracted using these isotherms indicate that there could be multiple adsorption sites on the Biochar samples investigated. These results will be discussed in the context of applications of biochar materials for gas storage and sequestration.
