Measuring the g-factor of highly charged ions and its implications for testing QED

ORAL โ€‚ยทโ€‚Invited

Abstract

This overview highlights recent measurements of bound-electron ๐‘”-factors achieved with unprecedented precision, enabling stringent tests of bound-state quantum electrodynamics. Beyond probing QED, these measurements also improve the accuracy of key fundamental constants and provide sensitive tests for physics beyond the Standard Model.
