Line Shape Analysis of Polarized Targets Using Adiabatic Fast Passage

Oral-In-person  · Withdrawn

Abstract

This study aims to develop advanced tools and techniques for measuring and simulating Continuous Wave NMR signals under experimental conditions, utilizing either partial or complete Adiabatic Fast Passage (AFP). The research examines the lineshape of NMR signals for spin-1 and spin-1/2 solid polarized targets in nuclear physics experiments, where AFP is employed to manipulate the target ensemble's helicity or to strategically adjust vector and tensor polarization configurations. The investigation is conducted in a 5 T magnetic field and 1 K temperature environment, aligning with the experimental setup at the University of Virginia (UVA) for direct comparison.
