Neutrino Physics at a Muon Collider

ORAL

Abstract

Muon decays provide a unique source of neutrinos with both electron and muon neutrino content. In this talk, I will discuss new ideas to explore these decays at the muon collider complex, considering both the acceleration stages as well as the main collider ring. I will show how measurements of the neutrino interaction rate within the main collider detector, the "neutrino slice", can be leveraged for precision electroweak measurements and how rates and spectra respond to potential muon-beam polarization. I will also discuss how the muon acceleration stages produce neutrinos across a wide variety of energies, enabling precision neutrino measurements from the O(100) MeV to the O(TeV) energy scale.
