Future Prospects at Short Baselines
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
The elusive neutrino may hold the key to unlocking new paradigms in particle physics. In particular, short-baseline neutrino experiments and facilities offer high-statistics probes of neutrino properties and related phenomena, providing a compelling pathway to discovery. Moreover, a series of longstanding anomalies observed in short-baseline neutrino experiments may already be hinting at new physics—potentially within reach of the next generation of detectors. This talk will survey the current landscape and explore future prospects in this rapidly evolving field, with a focus on highlights from the short-baseline neutrino program currently underway at Fermilab.
