Exact Solutions to Non-Perturbative Dynamics of Gauge Theories

ORAL

Abstract

I present recent results on exact solutions to non-perturbative dynamics in gauge theories. Many supersymmetric gauge theories have been solved exactly in 1990s, while the results did not resemble what are expected in non-SUSY gauge theories. I present exact results for supersymmetry gauge threories perturbed by anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking, which exhibit behaviors expected in the non-SUSY gauge theories. I argue a near-SUSY to non-SUSY cross over, aking to BCS-BEC cross over in atomic physics. On the other hand, the application of this method reveals exact solutions to chiral gauge theories that are different from the tumbling hypothesis. If time left, I would also present two-dimensional gauge theories where I can analytically compute electric dipole moments of confined hadrons.
