Full control of the parameters of eccentric and precessing SpEC waveforms

ORAL

Abstract

We build on prior work controlling initial data for simulating eccentric and precessing CBCs in the NR simulation code, SpEC. Initial data control for eccentric and/or precessing systems have been successfully implemented in SpEC using PN formalism. We combine the PN-based fit that can handle precession and the EOB-based fit that is based on the waveform to create a procedure that further improves initial data accuracy and generalizes the control process to enable greater applications of NR simulation data, such as waveform modeling and surrogate building.
