Exploring phase diagrams of quantum matter with neural quantum states

Abstract

Iterative backflow and neural quantum states provide explicit, highly accurate representations of many-body ground state wave functions of genuine quantum liquids and solids: helium, electron gas, and hydrogen. I will show that it becomes feasible to explore the phase diagram of such systems within variational Monte Carlo calculations overcoming major limitations of projector Monte Carlo methods without compromising accuracy.
