Managing beam backgrounds at FCC-ee
ORAL
Abstract
The talk discusses implications of the FCC-ee physics program on the architecture of the trigger and data acquisition systems, the detector design, and off-detector computing. Readout of the FCC-ee experiments is challenging because of the significant beam-induced backgrounds and the stringent objectives of the physics research program; the combined systematic uncertainties on selected cross-sections measurements need to be under 1e-5.
