Enhancing Remote Education with AI-Powered Interactive Learning Experiences
ORAL
Abstract
Hands-on learning activities are essential for effective remote education because they encourage active participation and help students connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications. These experiences bridge the gap between abstract concepts and real-world problem solving, leading to deeper understanding and retention. However, traditional hands-on sessions face several obstacles. As class sizes increase, it becomes more difficult to provide personalized guidance and feedback. In addition, evaluating individual learning outcomes during group-based activities is often challenging, making it harder to assess each student’s understanding and contributions.
To address these issues, I propose the integration of AI-powered adaptive hands-on activities designed to enhance experiential learning in remote and hybrid classrooms. These AI-driven tools can personalize instruction, support diverse learning styles, and improve student engagement by tailoring content to individual needs.
In this presentation, I will discuss the future of interactive learning in online environments, share practical strategies for implementation, and highlight the potential benefits for students. By leveraging artificial intelligence in hands-on education, instructors can create more inclusive, engaging, and effective remote learning experiences.
