The Enduring Legacy of C. N. Yang in Condensed Matter Physics

Abstract
Although renowned for high-energy theory, C. N. Yang's impact on condensed matter physics is equally foundational. This talk reviews his foundational contributions to condensed matter physics, and also discuss his prescient leadership in promoting condensed matter and cold atom physics as premier frontiers of science.
