Relativistic Radiation Fluid Simulations with the Einstein Toolkit

Abstract
We present an approach for numerical simulations of radiation fluids using the general relativistic hydrodynamics framework provided by the Einstein Toolkit. The approach models the radiation as a self-gravitating, perfect fluid with vanishing rest mass in the optically thick limit. We show results from evolutions of Tolman–Oppenheimer–Volkoff solutions.
