Effective Field Theory Approaches for Halo Nuclei
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
We review the effective field theory approaches for halo nuclei. In particular, we construct an effective field theory that describe weakly bound two-neutron halo nuclei where the only two small energy scales are the two-neutron separation energy and the neutron-neutron virtual energy. The prediction power and the limitations of the theory is reviewed, and its applicability to real nuclei are discussed.
