Awardees and friends of Research Corporation for Science Advancement (RCSA) and those interested in learning more about RCSA, please join us at the RCSA reception 5:00-7:30 pm Tuesday March 17 at the Hyatt Agate Room in the Hyatt Regency Denver. Please encourage students and postdocs to attend. We will honor Daniel Pitonyak, Lebanon Valley College, 2026 recipient, APS Prize for a Faculty Member for Research in an Undergraduate Institution, which is sponsored by RCSA. We will honor Laura Lopez, The Ohio State University, 2026 recipient, APS Edward A. Bouchet Award, which was supported for 18 years by RCSA prior to being endowed by the APS. The Bouchet Award recognizes a distinguished minority physicist who has made significant contributions to physics research and the advancement of underrepresented minority scientists. Daniel and Laura will be recognized and make remarks at 6:00 pm. Wine, beer, nonalcoholic beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
