Challenging classical simulability with novel error mitigation on Quantinuum devices
ORAL
Abstract
As quantum computers performance improves, and new quantum applications are discovered at a rapid pace, quantum advantage becomes a realistic near-term prospect. However, this advantage could only be realized using a reliable way to extract accurate results from noisy QPUs. Error mitigation has emerged as a leading approach to do exactly that.
Qedma's novel error mitigation, on Quantinuum devices, boasts a low overhead, and is application agnostic, so it can be implemented for any circuit without fine-tuning. In this talk we will present cutting edge results obtained using this method on Quantinuum's latest QPUs. These will demonstrate the ability to get high accuracy results for a variety of use cases, including some that are hard to simulate classically.
