Measurements of the Structure Constants in the Two-Dimensional Three-State Potts Model with the Operator Covariance Method
ORAL
Abstract
We report measurements of the structure constants in the two-dimensional three-state Potts model using the operator covariance method. By diagonalizing the operator covariance matrix constructed from Monte Carlo simulations, we disentangle multiple scaling operators at criticality, following the framework recently introduced by Sandvik. This approach allows the numerical extraction of certain structure constants that are generally inaccessible in previous Monte Carlo analyses where lattice operators are dominated by the most relevant scaling fields. Our results highlight how the operator covariance formalism provides a direct and quantitative bridge between lattice simulations and field-theoretical predictions.
