Benchmarking a 98-qubit trapped-ion quantum computer
ORAL
Abstract
We present the methods and results from benchmarking the performance of Helios, the next-generation QCCD trapped-ion quantum computer from Quantinuum. Our benchmarking approach focuses on two levels: (1) component-level operations like one- and two-qubit gates, idle times, state preparation, and measurement, and (2) system-level tests such as binary randomized benchmarking and mirror benchmarking. We find Helios has >99.9% two-qubit gate fidelity and system-level performance consistent with our component level testing.
