High-Fidelity Quantum operations in the Helios Barium-Ion Processor

The Helios system performs cooling, SPAM, single-qubit, and two-qubit operations in parallel across eight qubit pairs initialized within separate operation zones. A description is provided of the atomic physics leveraged for high fidelity as well as the concept of operations for performing all required quantum operations in the quantum logic region of the trap.
